Pastors Jim Messer & Matt Dillard cut a cake of appreciation at October's Community Unity Service fellowship

UNITY IN THE COMMUNITY is a monthly Saturday evening worship service @ Wellborn United Methodist Church. Jesus' prayed that "they be as one, Father, even as you and I are one". Pastor Jim Messer and Pastor Matt Dillard take turns preaching. Currently Pastor Matt meets his congregation Sundays at the WCA Community building. Sunday School is at 10 A.M. and morning worship at 11 A.M.. This newest church in town calls itself a Glory To God In Christ Ministry.

In this photo this Tall Man of God, Pastor Matt Dillard, must stand 6 foot 8 inches while Jim Messer is 5 foot 6 inches and its been fun. They are brothers in Christ and they smile about that.

When church families come together to worship, it is surely a foretaste of heaven. GOD SMILES AND SO DOES EVERYONE ELSE.

Someone said that 11:00 A.M. Sunday morning is the most segregated hour of the week. Christians are ashamed of that.
The Sunday nearest Martin Luther King Day was not so at Wellborn United Methodist Church this year.
We have been having a Unity in the Community worship service on one Saturday a month. All Wellborn churches are invited.
What a delightful surprise, then, to have our Pastor Matt's church family appear at the Methodist church at 11 A.M. As God would have it there was enough and leftovers for the Sunday luncheon/fellowship time to be shared following worship
Jennifer Campbell wrote on her face book page that she sang to a full house.
Sunday morning worship was a foretaste of heaven for all participating.
To God Be The Glory in Christ ...and that is the name Pastor Matt and the congregation have chosen for ministry in my hometown..

Fellowship monthly meeting for the men is open to the community. It is usually a dinner meeting at a local restaurant, the same night (third Thursdays) as the Wellborn United Methodist Women. It is an informal time of a devotion, supportive fellowship, and camaraderie. FYI # 965-2401

Religious and secular books, VCR's, DVD's and Audio Books are cataloged and available for borrowing from the Community Library in the Fellowship Hall of Wellborn United Methodist Church, 12005 CR137.

THE COMMUNITY DUMPSTER USERS ARE INVITED TO DROP ALUMINUM CANS

IN THE WIRE CAGE ON THE CHURCH PROPERTY.
